Mining Pi is free to ensure accessibility regardless of financial background. Pi Network does not use your phoneβs hardware or network resources. The app consumes battery similar to other regular apps. Pi mining does not consume phone resources because it uses a consensus algorithm adapted from the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) and Federated Byzantine Agreement (FBA), which do not require significant energy consumption.
