Man, that’s such a real one.

People really do believe what they hear more than what they see sometimes, and it’s wild. I think it’s ’cause words can be super persuasive—like, someone can say stuff with confidence or emotion, and suddenly it sounds like the truth, even if it’s not matching reality.

Also, most folks don’t wanna dig too deep—they just hear something, and if it fits what they already believe or wanna believe, they’re like, “Yup, that’s facts.” Even when the truth is right in front of them.

It’s like that saying: “Lies spread faster than the truth.” Words hit quick, visuals take thinking.

Overacting? People be doing the most for attention or drama, and others just eat it up like it’s gospel. 🙄
